Hi Sigge, these look like you had a lot of fun working on. But before you get too involved using the Wacom, Photoshop, etc., try to think out your composition and "staging" a little more thoroughly.
In the first piece, the distorted perspective of the fence along with the angle of her silhoetted arm in the same value of darkness makes it look like she's standing that way because a fence stake is going up her you-know-where. The figure drawing needs some serious work as well.
In the second one, the journalist is standing in the worst possible spot. A couple of the troops are shooting in his direction. So not only is he in the way, he's facing enemy fire. His cameraman will probably be the first to go. They can come off like idiots with a deathwish, but I think even war journalists would try to find a somewhat safer vantage point during a firefight.

i guess your right about the chick.
the reason i made the journalist stand in the middle of the battlezone is becouse i wanted just that, a little situation shot that you would get a little story from. tryed to make a little digital noise at the bottom on yhis one, does it work?
