Well this is my first post and 4th artwork with PS, i used to draw in more traditional styles but the possibilities of PS really got me into it. I'd like some crits on it since I just started drawing with Photoshop (and that neat wacom thingy :D ) and i am a n00b lol :P

nice textures on the blade, but your lighting is all wrong. it should be coming from the right, not the top left. re consider that.

I think there might be a pretty cool painting in there somewhere, but it's hard to tell with all the murk. The black shadows, white hightlights, and saturated midtones make it look like a black velvet painting.
