Hey, looks like I'm first to vote :)
The three entries are pretty cool, but my vote went to TheSMOKEKING 'cause it's IMO the most dynamic, I really like its stylization, and has a better unity with the graphic elements: they are a strong part of the piece, unlike the other two entries, where these elements look a bit more "pasted" 'cause it was the requirement. I love its type treatment too.
The third entry doesn't have much of an action pose really.
Good work guys! :)

Very strong pieces, all of them. My vote went to denart, the puchy colors makes a really nice impact on the viewer, along with the dynamic pose and sense of movement.
Keep on rocking, guys!

I voted for Denart.
The style is fantastic, and you did very well in capturing the movement of that dynamic pose. It feels like that guy is about to jump out of my screen and Pow Punch me in the face ^_^
Great job, all three of you :)

wait wait, I messed up....take one vote away from me. I accidently voted for myself. My vote goes to den though. You colored that figure like a beast. omg. I gotta step my game up for the next piece. I like your piece too jair. The graphical element is definetly there. but where's the action in the figure? I know you can do action stuff...I seen it. Anyway am I coming up with the topic for the next one? Cause I got it. I'll let you guys know....and oh yeah, we should post this on eatpoo. I think we'll get more votes. anyway good luck

chance man - gimme me a pair of them OOPs shoes. My parkour sessions demands em
and wtf! look at the james jean fingers! goddamn you worship him.... :perv:
That basketball rim kinda looks outta place...if its in front of the foot, its outline should be darker in value
cool facial expression and intense exaggeration of elongation.
Jair - cool design. Your early days as a GFX designer is showin but wassup with the standing pose?

I dig chance's type usage and overall flavor, Jair's mood & design, and Den's motion. Here's my unwarranted opinion, though:
Chance, you got a fun piece that I think looks the most professional, but some of the linework isn't working for me. That hoop is hoopty! And extremem isn't a word!
Jair, I dig the idea of the design, and I think it could be a good piece, but the type is killing it for me. You also have lots of tiny shapes and weird line thicknes action that doesn't look thought out. That, and the figure just ain't done.
Den, I already told you, I don't dig the type or the graphic elements very much, nor am I wild about the style, but there's good stuff in there, plus it holds together pretty well.
Great to see this stuff from my ol' CCAD! Keep it up!

dang! lol "extremem" wtf was I smoking? I didn't even catch that. Yeah that hoop was rushed. I just didn't see a way to sum that portion of the piece up. I should've spent more time in the beginning clearing that up. I was trying to solve too many problems in that area towards the end.
thanks a lot for the critique man, anyway I been looking at that one forest landscape painting you have on your myspace page....and I think it is safe to offically declare you a beast. I'm letting you know ahead of time that Im gonna be stealing some of your moves for the next piece.
thanks too entdroid. :D piece
p.s.
I really like the video game reference on yours a lot den :xbox: :perv:

I think it is safe to offically declare you a beast.
1.) I'm no beast at all, I spend forever on my work and it's not even that good. If you can figure out how to make my lame moves work properly, go for it by all means.
2.) I freakin' hate that term "beast", even more when people say stuff is so "chill." ugh!
thanks man.

lol I know what you mean man. I hate when people say "low key" in everyday conversations in place of 'mildly'
"man that burrito was low key hot"
the fuck? this is not color concept and your not in the roots. I guess I can understand how you could hate "beast". lol
anyway this is getting off topic.
*goes to myspace to study more beastlyness*

hahaha dang man lol
"your black friend"
hahaha
ok so wait, what's gfx? why do you insist on making up these pointless abbreviations? You always end up using even more energy than you intend by having to explain what it means. :nohope:

Great job all three of you guys.
Chance- Nice use of textural effects. Makes it feel like street art....
Den- Great use of graphic shapes and the limited color in the figure is nice.
Jair- Great use of texts and graphic elements, but I think the figure needed more movement to help the composition feel more dynamic.
Great job again guys. And Den, I started laughing while reading the move list at the bottom....Mc. Dee's. hahahaha.

"kick a big lip buster-1000pts"
bwahahahahahahahahahahah omg man.
You've just increased the chances of you getting struck by lightning or mugged by a big black homeless gay dude.
haha
*den's sitting at home eating a delicious blend of homemade rice with his favorite pair of chopsticks. And suddenly a naked black homless guy jumps through his window and slaps his glasses off, knocking den unconscious, and steals his collection of purchased goods.*
Karma-
ZAPPED yo dumbass

ahahaaa..kick that big lip! Make it even bigger than before! SO big! ==>
chance. you got 2 emoticons
:dad: :perv:
....Mc. Dee's. hahahaha.
...yesss. they put the camera back up AGAIN.
This time, its on the gutter end of the roof so you can't reach it from just standing on the rooftop.
You actually have to slide all the way down the roof, grab the camera, and yank it off at the same time...No matter, I will get em a 3rd time. It's like...a video game. The difficulty gets harder
