Jungle concept

Heya all, this is my first post on this forum. I'm a student at the Art institute of CA san diego and I've been working on this concept in my free time for about 5 or so hours now. if i had to say anything i may consider some more contrast.. maybe some more darks in areas. is any of this from reference or is this all from your head?

Very cool. I have to agree with adding some darker areas and saturating the shadows more. The light beams breaking through the leaves wash out in the rest of the picture. It is a great start and can't wait to see it progress.
