not bad!
i hope i can help you with my advice:
your lines seem to be quite stiff. try using looser lines
(opposing curves http://features.cgsociety.org/stories/2006_01/rebecca_kimmel/pic_13.jpg)
in addition the figure is very flat, especially the head's shape.
you must not forget that everything you draw has a volume which follow the rules of perspective. you can easily show depth by using simple shapes like a sphere or a cube.
i think the best way to solve those issues is to do lifedrawing.
draw the things you see and while doing so, try to understand the shape.
your knowledge of anatomy will enlarge.
keep drawing and let me see a good progress :)

I agree with bloodrush, but also I think you should not only draw from life, you should get some good anatomy books. bridgeman is a source I use mostly, check out mentlers stuff here on CA. Repitition is very important so your hand and eye can intuitively function together more acurately. Regardless of everything, just keep drawing, and you'll improve.
Crit: Hands need work, they're to small in relation to the body. the arms are very sausage like, if one side of the arm is straight the other side should have a slight curve to it, and the same for the opposite, your anatomy on the torso, shows me that you know where what muscles go where, but Your not understanding the form of the body. Everything looks rather flat. Nose on the face is a bit high, Keep at it, and Welcome to CA!!

HEy KApil,
I think like the other two wise people who posted here, that you should draw more from life ,and get some anatomy books. But the most important thing is persistence.Keep drawing , day and night , doesnt matter what you matter , what matters is how much you draw ,if you really want to be good or great, then drawing should be the first thing done in the morning and the last thing done at night.
Oh and welcome to Ca , bro .I know you will like it here.
Take care,
Keep burning the lead.

The arms look much better now, compared to the first post. Guess the hand studies payed off already. Also the chest has more volume now.
If your consequently working through the parts of the body step by step, your drawings will get better and better. (i know, sentence sounds smart-alec but its deffenetly true):rendered:

Really gotta start Updating this thing more. Sorry. I've been pretty busy over the past year. I've started school now, so i guess i can start posting up a bunch of the assignments and shit i had for first semester.
Anyway, here are 4 things to kick things off. Some eyes from reference. All were done by me except the real dark one on the bottom right. Had some fun with crayons, drew a woman's face (from photo ref) and some women's bodies (also from photo ref). Last but not least was a drawing from my studio class, "Methods and Materials." Watercolor, about 3 hours, maybe 4.

My biggest concern was your scratchy line quality, as someone already mentioned. It's looking a lot better in your latest post though that female nude's lines are a bit rough in a few places.
I feel like you could do more with the warm/cool contrast in the watercolor piece. But I'm not the one to ask for specifics, I've never gotten along with watercolors.

Yea, i still do the scratchy line quality. Old habits die hard huh? Yea, i just started working with color my first semester in college, but i think it'
s coming along alright. But i see what you're saying with the contrast. THanks for the crit man. Appreciate it.

Okay, here is something from my 2-D design class. We were supposed to create a composition using only different kinds of lines. This didn't turn out well for the assignment but i still like it as a separate piece. There are things that could have been done better, mainly the eyes and ears. But i think i could make it a real nice piece if i re-did it.

Girl's head didn't turn out how i had planned, but they rarely ever do so i shouldn't be surprised. original photo (http://mehmeturgut.deviantart.com/art/i-hate-pink-green-and-yellow-91364811) by this wonderful photographer Mehmeturgut, over at DeviantArt. Then two more women.

Got some work that i've been doin for school. I finally got around to takin some pictures! I got few more self-portraits, one in charcoal, one in pastel and one in acrylic. The pastel one was an exercise we did in class, but i never really got the hang of it...My friend "Spil," is the guy with the crazy hair, always fun to draw him. And of course some gesture drawings.
