About a year ago i tried to draw a female face straight out of my imagination and here is the result.



I tried again yesterday. And i am happy with the results. Ok they are still issues but compared to what i was doing a year ago i can see huge improvements.

Oh yeah, there is a big improvement over a year ago, your skin tones are much better. But certain shapes such as her left eyelid, nose, lips seem skewed to me. I'd rework under the left eye, also. It's not falling into shadow correctly as in curves around to the unlit side of her face. And her neck appears to be twisted around unnaturally.

Nicely done, though. Keep it up.

Thanks for the crit RobertMac. She is a bit caricaturist rather than realistic looking. I fixed the neck but the pic looked kinda dull afterwards so i just reverted to the twisted but more interesting look.
