open canvas Q

I own open canvas version 4+, but it only produces OE4 event files, While I often find posts with WPE files including a link to a very early version of OC. I doubt that they will play newer version files.
As it is now I have a link for the (few) visitors of my webpage to download the entire trial version of OC4 to view my event files. Which seems like overkill.
Isn't there an external viewer in existence?

I doubt theres a viewer to see OC4 filess, the people who
wants to see it have to own OpenCanvas 4.06 :)

Number 4 in the series can read all event files, so its worth download / buy

The older versions don't even register the .oe4 extension. Why don't you link to the OC site trial download instead of hosting it yourself? It seems like a waste of bandwidth.

Why buy the newest one, when the old one is free and has the same features that make the program enjoyable?

I already own OC 4+ (an upgrade from 3+) . Maybe I'll suggest it on the portalgraphics.net BBS.
