Has anyone tried this beta?
I have the program and I like it pretty much. The only thing is that it is laggy on my pc...

But the concept is the same like "Aperture" from apple.

Just wanted to inform you :)

You know, this is great, but i cant find any cloning, or other tools for covering stuff up(out)!

this is a program mainly to change around the initial exposure settings, or more so just make it seem like you took the picture at a different setting. you'll still have to use PS for any form of manipulative editing.

i use captureone pro myself, but i'll give this a try :teeth:

i dont know why in the hell i hadnt played with this when i first downloaded it, but its freakin amazing!

i LOVE the exposure adjustments!!!! i may be able to save a bunch of old photos that i was too lazy to attempt exposure adjustments in photoshop with.

this makes it super easy and fast.

Yes there are some very nice features... (btw: The best thing is to work with RAR.-files... the outcomes are awesome :D)

ps// My system: 1400Mhz Athlon, Radeon 9800pro, 1024DDR ==> laggy (I know I need a new cpu...)

Okay here is just a small example for those who don't have lightroom.

hey norwin, thanks for the link. i've been looking for something like mac's aperture for a while, since the amount of photos is getting quite large now and i wanted to organize stuff more. like it a lot, although my computer gets slightly slow, either (especially with the RAW files)... wow, sam - i'm envious of your machine! :)

can't wait to see what the finished version will look like.
again, thanks for posting the link,
cheers

I'm gonna be getting myself a laptop instead of this tedious desktop with a dual core processor, 19" screen and 2 GBs of Ram for my photo editing.. hee hee!

Anyway, this lightroom thing does make things easier, only thing i dont like about it, is the Ctrl+Z.. or undo function. It has bad history states. And that bothers me. Like sometimes it will remember and undo the last change, other times it will skip that change and go unto something i did right at the beginning.

However, it has a marvelous way of capturing exactly what i wanted in my head to reality. For that.. i am content.

Here's a little tip for all you people who dont want to get rid of your Beta version before it expires, Go to preferences, and turn off the automatic update thing(or switch to manual). That way, adobe wont be able to send an expiration update.. I think it will work!
