Yesterday I watched The Mothman Prophecies.

Even if I don't like Richard Gere, I was interested by the movie which is very well filmed.

And I wanted to do a direct to computer illustration inspired by it.

And here it is !

I also can't stand Richard Gere and I didn't see the movie, but your artwork rocks. The glow in the back, and the way it glows through the creatures wings is done beautifully.

I like'd the movie rendition because it looked like burning on film that could be interpreted as the Mothman... really really vague immagry I would like to see your piece as a little less "In your face" and moreso "What was that?? It looked like the mothman!...not really sure....The only thing I'm sure of is that I pissed my pants..."

pretty sweet rendition. Yeah I saw that movie too. It was supposedly based on true events too. I loved that scene where he breifly walks acros a mirror and you can see the face of the creature looking up at him for just that split second. That creeped me out.

I loved the colors and the texture of you image, btw. He looks like he's standing in front of a campfire in the middle of a forrest. Maybe not, but still pretty damn cool.
