Hi everyone, this is my 1st time posting my works here, Honestly, I'm feeling nervous because the standard of this forum is incredibly high... which is good to have some great feedback

I'm actually tired of doing concept art with title given by college. So, since the college wasn't that busy after the term break, I took the precious time and did some concept art based on my own title, it's fun and also a good moment to learn new things. I try some of the topics that I never try before.. and any comments and crit on my style, execution, color...etc are very needed, thanks!! Especially my style, I would like to know whether my works are too strongly influenced by japan? or perhaps too cute? .... Please tell me what you think.
:) Ok, I'll try to explain them with my limited english, hope u don't mind. And here is it:

-This is a project called "The Last Spirit", the story take place in an ancient village of a forest. The buildings are some kind of plants which look like lolipop, and people stay inside of it. There is a spirit( or elf?) live on top of it to protect the village but it is dying... The villagers are panic and worry and they think that this is the last spirit. But there is a boy that found a map which tells the location of the final land of the spirit, and although there is no one believe in him, he insists on the journey to search for the last spirit..... And the daughter of the chief of village sneak out and follow him, without her father's permission and notice...

-a color sketch of how the building looks liike:

-I like to draw space ship, but I also think it's good for me to challenge something I never draw before- ancient air ship. I planned to come out with a series of 7 air ship but I only managed to finish 2.. due to limited time and inpatience :( .. the 1st one is a normal daily transportation used by the people that live on the islands on the sky. 2nd one is the air bus.

-This is a character for my multi-media class. I wrote a diary of a robot father, which suffer from tons of family problems.

-the design of his robot housemaid...

-These are 2 of my 8 characters for my "kampung boy" project. It's a college project half year ago, but they are without color. I just did the coloring recently.

lovely. a bit too "standard" if i may say so, but i realy like them. I think you can accopmlish more by loosing the simetry. All chars and robots and ships are almost symetric in front view.
More ! :D

:) Thanks guys for the respones! I'm relieved to know that my style is accepted by other countries, and ya Yuri, I'm from Malaysia and I'm currently in my final 2nd term of animation course. I appreciated all the compliments on my style but I'm still thinking that there's so many things that I haven't try out yet ( monsters design, aliens... etc), so I'll keep on learning new stuff..
Oblio: Symmetric....sometime I always made this mistake, especially for background. Thank for reminding!

I see a lot of Miyazaki in your work, particularly in the ship designs. Your character work is more reminiscent of traditional anime.

The presentation of your 'The Last Spirit' and airship concepts is very nicely done. Overall, I think your figure work could use improvement--work on proportions, consistency, anatomy, etc--particularly hands. You seem to have expressions down pretty well.

The artwork has the feel of a roleplaying video game. It's good to see you able to carry consistent visual themes across a series of drawings.

firstly, awesome concepts. greaty cartoony stuff.. always nice..

second.. the ships.. they don't look like they could be capable of flight. maybe it's just me, but they look really heavy and not a whole lot of prop.

 wao.. I didn't expect so many replies and very glad to know what u guys thinking. I have a questions, perhaps is a silly 1??... When u guys say "presentation", does it mean the way I explain my works or the layout/composition of the drawing? I just get confused..

the air bus reminds me of FF9, and that first airship is just plain awsome! Hey, do you ink in the computor or on paper or both?
