Hey everyone,
My first post on here :) - hope that the image comes out etc. :^^:
It was a study I have done in my spare time in pencil, 4B, 2B, 2H were the pencil grades I used. It was all from my imagination with no reference.
It is made from pieces of flesh sewn together, along with hair and the general form of an animal. I thought a guardian would best describe this sort of appearance.
Crit is very welcome. :^^:
Thankz

Hey this is looking pretty nice, good job. One little crit tho, the black space in his face, which i assume is his mouth, looks a little flat. Other than that, nothingh to crit.
Are you gonna color it? It looks fine as it is, but a colored version would be interesting to see too.

The bare muscles would pop out even more if you darkened some of the lines to look like the striations you usually see in muscles. If you also smooth out the pieces of skin, the contrasting textures would really add to the drawing.

I'm fascinated with the way you did the hair. It's beautiful.

the hair is amazing, but the upper half seems a bit hard to read..and as someone already mentioned - flat. Also it seems to me with the chosen angle the ear on (my) right wouldn't be longer than the other. It's closer to the viewer after all.
Excellent work reguardless, very unique approach. And as someone said before, and I made a mention of - the hair on this creature is just..wow.

Thanks all of you, I should maybe use some deeper grade of pencil rather than just the 4B, then I could create more depth.
(presently studying foundation art (18 yrs Old)) - so all these crits are helping me in that I can use this advice in other areas
Thanks
