Congrats again to Prophet for winning challenge #15! I believe that makes three in a row, nicely done.
The Rules:
Anyone ages 13-19 may submit an entry at any time before the deadline, and any medium (sans photograghy) is allowed.
No descriptions allowed this time; for the sake of challenge, try to tell the whole story within the image by means of narrative illustration.
Please host your image on a remote image-hosting site instead of uploading it to the CA server. This makes it much easier to transfer it to the poll thread.
The Topic:
Scene: The Heist
This topic is in honor of Sloth's recent, erm, experiences with some aspiring master thieves. Open to interpretation, but try to get some solid narrative in your scene.
The Deadline:
Saturday, October 21 at midnight PST

Hehe, I had to use a dictionary to understand the topic.:nohope: At first I thought it's something like haste! :p
This should be fun, may the best lock-picker win! :D
As always, I promise you unfair competition and lots of pain. You are all going to lick your humiliated artistic egos after i finish my (consecutive) masterpiece!
Yes, I know I'm saying that every time, and I end up with number of votes somewhere between the 0-1 range, but this time's for real, baby!
Goodluck all, and Godspeed! :hatsoff: :P

A heist in general means a robbery, although it is usually used to talk about something big, like a bank robbery.
Missed the last one, so I'll try hard to get in on this one.

Hmm... this could work in black and white. No worrying over silly colour problems with my monitor that completly kill the fun. Not to mention I won't be freaking out over such silly things as 200gesture drawings in a week.
Time to tango.

Ok, so, I just finnished watching Mythbusters on Discovery and they were doind, wouldn't ya know it, a speacial on break in myths! Here is the inspiring information I aquired!
1.Using ballistics gell, a copied fingerprint dusted and scanned into the computer, and an acid etching technique on copper, it is possible to foil a thumb scanner. Heck, with one of the tests they used a black and white paper print out on one of the scanners and got through it!
2.You can foil a thermal heat censor alarm by placing a speacial sheet of glass that blocks UV rays over it. Slavering yourself with mud or blasting yourself with a fire extiguisher, does NOT work.
3. A sonar sweeping alarm can be foiled by holding up a simple, ordinary bed sheet infront of you as you walk towards it. Or you can simply walk as slow as physically possible.
4. It is possible to get past a glass lock safe by drilling/welding a hole through the top, filling it with water, and detonating a charge. The effectively blows the door off, before the the glass locking mechanism, wich puts impenetrably locks the door when the glass breaks, can activate. This should result with the safe door behing about 30ft infront of the safe which is blown backwards in the process.
There we go, I'm sure you'll all be able to find good legal uses for these little tidbits of info.

Its a guy running off with the money. Money is flying out of the bag to help get this idea across.
