Pretty nice shot, you used a tri-pod I assume?

And on the post processing, definately the second shot. The contrast and sharpness is much better.

garbage bin, nice! :D haha that'll go on my list of things to use in a jam w/o a tripod

nice shots btw, the edited versions are nice mainly because they add to the contrast and saturation, and don't feel awkward about the edits if you do, a lot of portraits are edited these day.

i'll have to post some of my night/low light shots for good measure... time to break out the camera again and stop being lazy ><
