ok, anatomy is pretty bad on this one. anatomy is important but I cant colour sketches that's why I am trying stuff out right now. for this I wanted to achieve a "brass" like effect. I'll have a hell of a time to give him arms and add more details to make him more interesting but that's why I can proudly call myself noob ;)
please crit like hell! right now I am at a state where I still can correct much stuff. btw. any ideas how to get this brassy greenings into that one?

the next thing I'll do is reworking the shoulders and the arms to match the proportions and maybe some anatomy.

firstly the torso is too thin and second the left arm is too short.think of the arms approx. that way:the very upper arm(the attachment to the torso) is like a ball,then follow the upper part and the lower part,which are like tubes(somehow) and should be approx. the same length(without hand).hope this helps you:)
