I went on a trip to Chicago and on the way back I stopped by the dunes in Indiana on the coast of Lake Michigan. I think most of this is the steel industry near Gary, IN and maybe East Chicago

one thing my teach told me when picking a border or a mate is not to make it the same color as what is importent in the picture or painting it draws your eyes to the border, red is the focal point in this photo, it is what draws you into it. but making a red border draws your eye out of the photo. try using other colors like and the red will pop out more drawing you in even more.
the photo is amazing it is just my eyes are drawn to the border.
i hope this makes sense and helps

I dont like the frame, but that is one seriously moody photo. I like the air of it!

Well I like the idea of using a border color from the picture. Might it be better if the border color was sampled from the blue in the water?

a simple black boarder i think would do this pic the best justice. you dont want anythign takign away from the fantastic deep colors of the photograph itself.
