curious to see what you make of this one. i think it's missing something, so tell me what you think.

The concept is nice, and I like the perspective on this as well. I think the water looks very good as does well by reflecting the color of the sky.

Here are some things I would do for improvement:

Tighten up the lines on the two pillars to the right so they come into focus a bit more. Especially since they are the focal point to the piece.

Add some depth to the giant black portion in the foreground to the left. As it is, I am very distracted by it and it looks like a tear in the fabric of the Space-Time Contiuom. Give it some life.

I think this should go in the WIP-forum.

If the grey.. stuff in the background is supposed to be fog (or particles of whatever) the, uh, cone pillar things should probably appear less saturated..

And what is going on there anyway? :confused:

If I was an art teacher I'd probably say that the composition doesn't work because the left side is so heavy that it is way out of balance, but I think it works some odd way. I've always liked odd compositions and solid surfaces.
The water looks also good.
