Here's a couple ideas I've been throwing around for a British SteamPowered Battle Suit. Hit me hard. I can take it. These concepts are done. So tell me what's good what's bad and whatever. I'm still looking for a final look so let me have it.

I like the right one although I think these are sketches and not finished...

Interesting idea. I like the second one best. The gasmask feels a bit wrong, maybe making it a bit more metalic looking would make it meld better with the rest of the image.

Some pistons on arms/legs would be nice to make it look more workable. Maybe add an odd cogwheel or two?

Thanks for the comments. These are sketches but they are done until I figure out exactly what I want it to look like. I've got a couple more sketches but I need to scan them.
And I did use a machinegun truely existing in life. That's a Vickers Machinegun on the shoulder.
I don't think they had pistons back in the early early 1900's but I know what you mean. I'll try adding some crank shafts or some cog wheels to the back of the legs and under the engine on the back.

Heh, they didn't have steam-powered battle suits either! :D

I like the one on the right but agree that the gas mask could use some work. No specific ideas though.

Well I was trying to go for a british sort of look by using british style smoke stacks and gasmask and a british Vickers Machinegun. And I tried to give it a very heavy iron/lots of bolts kinda look.
