Hey conceptart. I've been a long time lurker, on and off. I finally got my ass in gear and got really into art, and now I'm at the Sheridan Institute of Art and Design. I'm very proud, but I'm not quite anywhere I need to be. I have another 3-4 years infront of me, but I'm not happy with me right now.

I'm taking extra lifedrawing almost daily, (1-3hours), and a 3 hour session on thursdays. I'm pretty much self taught in finearts (painting - acrylics) so I'm not really sure how to do digital, which seems to be one of the popular and more diverse tool.

I like my concepts, but I don't have the talent or skill at the moment to get it down the way it should look like.

Please, tell me anything you think about it, I'm posting these for feedback, not for deviantart asspats!

I'll post more after thanksgiving weekend when I can scan more of my lifedrawings and such in.

The one I'm the most worreid about is the scifi guy; he has artificial legs, but it makes him look like they're very strange. Suggestions?

Hey welcome to CA, glad to see you've started a sketchbook!

Your work is good and confident (especially the scifi guy), but definitely lacking in foundation and structure. Start working more from life even outsifr of life drawing class, builf up a visual vocabulary and knowledge to pull from in your imagination works as well. Try and stay away from a predefined style, let your style be defined by the way you see the world rather than how others see it. Also make sure to study of on anatomy and realistic proportions to give you a better understanding of structure and building your figures.
