Howdy all...

I used to shoot a lot of landscapes and objects... but I became really bored with that doing it for years and years. So now I try and focus only on people (mostly girls like in my last post) Here's a new series I shot last month of a model I know. Any thoughts?

Also... what do you guys mostly shoot? People, places or things?
And... how do you do that cool little thumbnail to the right of the post?

Ah... I see. The thumbnail only shows up if your images are attachments and not linked in. Got it.

Very nice pictures, favourite has to be the 5th from the top. Very stylish and nice with the city scape in the background. Only thing I come to think of is the sharp shadow on the wall, it distracts a bit, same thing in the last pic. The last pic is a bit tilted and I think the "vinjett" (cant remember the english word), the dark gradient at the edge, feels wrong somehow. It doesnt fit in with the rest in the series. Maybe because the pics are relatively high key, and a bright gradient towards the edges might fit better. I dunno, very nice work anyhow!

The dreamy effect is a mixture of things... I'm sort of a photo mad scientist. I will collect all sorts of things to shoot through and try and achieve new effects. Frosted bits of glass, very sheer material I stretch over the lens... Then I go back and work the levels in PS to get things sort of blownout and eroded or not.

I'm a big fan of vignetting... both with soft focus and darkening the edges. I like to use it to draw the viewer's eye to what I want them to focus on. Although I will admit it doesn't always seem to work. I wasn't too sure about doing it on this shot but I didn't want the city to be more of a character than my model.

The glam effect in these are really strong. it really took me back to those days and thats what i call good photography.

my fave would be the first and the least fave would be the one shot in the sun. I have lens-flare allergy. It's a really rare desease but each time i see a :lens: i sneaze. *ACHU!!!!* :D

How ever these are stamped 2004. Could you show us more of your actuall works?

oooh, and welcome to CA photo ! :D

Cheers!
