Hi there,
I ain't no pro, but I'll give it a go...
I really like the character of the first picture. Kida looks like a young princess who doesn't want to be a young princess, or someone who looks a little out of place with what they're wearing.
Anyway, the only thing that springs up from the first picture is the right hand ( the one you can see ). It just strikes me as lacking a little in detail. Normally, this might not pose a problem, but if it's viewed in front of the forearm, then it seems to blend into it, and kinda makes it into one big flat shape. I think a bit more detail should bring that hand forward. Other than that, it's really nice.
As for your second pic, I kinda lost what I was looking at a little, cos there's so much charcoal fun going on. The stand out points are his shirt and the pouch on the left of his belt. They're great. The pose is ace too, I suppose I'd like to see him a bit clearer.
Thanks for posting, these are really nice pieces.
Keep it up, and post some more!

That first one is just tremendous. I love the decoration on the portion of the dress at her waste. You really did a good job capturing the emotion with her face as well. It just works very well. There is a lot of empty space around her though, and I think adding something would take this piece to the next level.

The second piece is a bit to vanilla. The background is a bit overpowering, and his stance lacks dynamics. I really like your style when doing faces, but even that is just a bit flat.

The first piece is my favorite of what I have seen from you thus far. It is really, really good. I keep going back to look at and I find a new gem every time. Excellent stuff and thanks for sharing your work.
