I agree with gas boy there on the eyes thing. Have no idea to help you one that unfortunately. As for the style, I really like how you blend cloth and armor into these beautiful costumes. Keep it up.

I like your line work and the shading you did. Very simplistic yet expressive. Is that ballpoint?

I also like your marker page in the shading and style. However the sitting girl's anatomy is a little weird. May be the clothing on the shoulders or trouble with the foreshortening but it feels weird.

Try out heads from all different angles. I'm doiing that now and it's a lot of fun! There's good study material on fineart.sk for that, the Loomis books section :

http://www.gameartworks.com/LoomisBooks/heads/page_01.htm

is great imo.

thanks for the comments guys. i need to work on making the faces different, so i ll look into the eyes thing.

erik - yeah, i knew the girls anatomy was a little off when i posted it.. .her head and legs are off. i ll look at the head thing and do some studies or pieces with them. i dont use a ballpoint pen.. its a sakura micron pen (02).

Nice shading, nice line work... Now, start working those camera angles. Go crazy with that. Exercise your foreshortening skills. Tell one of the pretty young ladies you got there to turn their back to you and draw that. Use more then one model in a composition. Now that should test you.

I think you draw the mouth very well! you should maybe work a little more though on your shading with the markers... Keep up the good work!

I love your work, MW... I especially like the middle piece, with the evil looking woman, and girl in a headress... the markers give it some nice depth, and the headress is lovely. I'd like to see that character expanded on a bit. I also like the second-last image (girl in funky skirt), although the strangeness of her hand hurts the image a bit.

Your style is very pleasant. Pretty*!

*It's a compliment. :)
