Haha... looks like it'll be as good as your last! My only crit is she could look a little sader in the face. Keep up the good work. :D

thanks all :)

she could look a little sader in the face.

Well, the way I look at it, she's about to slice the Jawa into many tiny pieces, so she's smiling in the prospect of a job well slic...done.

See, she was hiding that lightsaber where all respectable ladies hide their respectable weapons (reference from plenty of good old Spaghetti Westerns).

So she's now slowly revealing it to us, the audience, in a sexy kinda way. The next scene is so gory that It'll be R-rated easily and pretty much in the red-magenta spectrum...not for kids...

lookin good!. In the end I think the light saber should be more subdued. Below the waist could use some more volume and spacial work, so you believe that the hand can pass over the leg to reveal the light saber.

Looking good so far and I can't to see finish touch....
Keep it up good work and where in the earth you get that cool idea?

cire600: thanks, you're right. I've reworked what you said a bit, but it still needs more

Blue: thanks. My idea? well, my brain, twisted, mainly, but it really depends. I have this Jedi friend, you see, and...

More crits, please (good and bad)

well... seeing as this is kinda based on the blue lady with the lightrator(I start to call them "joy saber" in my mind right now) I thought the girl is going to show the java stuff that he'd never thought of between his junk droids.
oh well, meeting his maker is also nice ;)

edit: listening to fatboy slim is surely a good idea. which songs did you listen to? or which album? ( I guess "you've come a long way baby")

After looking at this a bit I notice that her neck and shoulders are too wide, her head looks a bit small in proportion. I would suggest scaling her head up a some.

hmm...ok,i think her right shoulder is off(our left).and the collarbones shouldn't run into each other like that.then her eyes look as if closed completely.make some tiny approach of pupils.why is she holding the chain(which looks a bit strange, the rings don't fit into each other properly)?maybe also the bangle(or whatever you call it) should sit higher on the arm.and i can't help...somehow i liked the first one better.it was more dynamic.but keep on working.i have great respect for your work in general and i hope my crits help a bit:)

Balton: I've got pretty much all the Fatboy Slim's + bootlegs and other remixes. I just play them randomly amongst others (12'000+ songs to choose from - not all FBS obviously - I'm all set for a few years non-stop I think :)

Chad: Thanks. I've reworked that a bit. I probably will again later.

Carnifex: thanks for input. She's holding the chain because...she's holding the chain (?)

More C&C welcome - at this stage, I'm going to post it to the Finished section to get more feedback. It's not quite finished, but some peeps just look at that particular thread.

This is the post in the Finished section: Yodalisque 2 (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8054)

i can't help, but i think the background looks totally flat, most of all with that wanted-poster,it looks like a watermark on the wall and even though there are shadows(or exactly because there are shadows) the walls and buildings look completely flat.except for that turbine(or whatever it is).and if you ask me,her head is a bit too big now.good either way:)

p.s.:and for everyone,it's carniF-E-X,it's got nothing to do with a carnivore or something,it's just the latin word for executioner.i don't get why ppl misread the whole time.just so btw.

I shall continue the thread in Finished work but since I've started here, here's the next step. Quite a change, huh? Well, I thought it was more in the spirit of the first one, more claustrophobic.

Still not quite finished.

oh yes,that's way better.
BUT her body looks somewhat flat in relation to the head now.and concerning the light source, she should also cast a shadow on the wall.

hmm... for some reason her face looks too masculine now. like a transvestite. the first ver. of her face is much softer. at least thats what I feel when looking at them without glasses.

that's really nice! I'd get rid of the blue sky though, it's a bit distracting to the overall colourscheme. I'm thinking that the same sepia colours would fit but then it wouldn't be distinguashable as the sky.... you know what? nevermind. :)
