Well, they're supposed to anyway.

I wasn't sure if this is done or not, so I thought I'd post it here for feedback.

They're called "Pogways".

This is a pencil sketch, painted over in Photoshop 7

Love to hear your suggestions.

Cool characters I'd say they look like a gecko fog cross breed, but they really fit the enviornment. I'm not sure about the guys expression in the back. The foreground character is at attention keeping a look out and looks very tense, while the character in the BG looks like he's just out for a lazy stroll.

I really like how you did the sunbeams coming through the canopy above. cool stuff

I really like the composition and lighting. It has a great sense of import and tension. Good storytelling!

The guy in the back looks like he has just discovered that they're being watched by all these people browsing thru ConceptArt.org:wtf: ....
This really ads some humor to the pic, aside from the beautifull poses:thumbsup: ....

Great artwork indeed, love to see more:) .....

I'd say they look like frogs, and if you get challenged on that, just make up an excuse... like, 'This is what a frog would look like if it evolved into a biped. Do you think there are a lot of similarities between a chimpanzee and John Cleese of Monty Python?'

My only comment is about the scratchy area on the upper left. Is that just left over pencil-scan artifacts, or is that an actual texture? It keeps drawing my eye to the area, and I can't tell if it's out of place or on purpose.

But, I think it's a very minor point. If this is a work in progress you'll probably smooth out little problems like that without even thinking about them.

The more I look at it, the cooler this picture is. The frog who's noticed the viewer gives me the creeps. Cool image.
