Hey guys.

I need to earn some money, but no one is hiring for ANYTHING in my area. Wondering if you guys know any quick ways to earn some cash drawing.

A couple of ideas that I and friends have come up with:

-street caricatures at $5 a pop
-selling art online through Ebay
-drawing furries and selling through Furbid

Do you guys have any tips or suggestions?

Sometimes you have to take the crappy jobs to make ends meet. I've been working as a waiter the last few months now so I can earn enough money to make ends meet. The only real difficult part of all of this is keeping the art up while working, and I've unfortunately failed a bit at that.

you could always work for some crappy security gig. It gives you plenty of time to draw. That's what I did.

That ebay thing is not too bad, either. I was on a list for ages where this woman did American Primitive paintings and made around (give or take) $5000/month at it. Absodamnlutely unbelievable, but she had a closed auction page at ebay to back herself up.

Waiting tables (if you have the right personality for it), or bartending can be awesome cash at part time hours. Part time hours at low full time pay can give you the time you need to keep up your artwork. If you go the security route, just don't get caught drawing or the toothless Sgt. will "Deliver" your kiester. Just look at Mitch, that's where he got the inspiration to do his avatar!
