Another sketch, this time done with a technique I am much more familiar. I mean the shadowing by the use of lines.

Hey, I wonder as to the 'why' this sketch had no any comment. Is it so indifferent? And if it is indifferent where it lies its indifference, in its concept or it has something not well expressed in its drawing way? If you let me know I will be thankful really.

ehh...that's a real big head;)
and i think you should add some more shadows on the upper part to make it look more round...it looks a bit flat atm:)

Thanks Carnifex. In the case that the intention is constructive to express your dislike is most helpful.

Nice style there, Fatesailor!

I like the line-technique!

I think you will get much more replies with a piece more readable (if this makes sense?)...

Thanks Fozzybar. Your comment about the line technique was timely for me because apart from the Carnifex's comment which has to do more with the subject then the technique (and which I found very helpful because when we have to do with concept art we ought to be consistent with some real world laws and factors - I have some 'bad' habits from cartooning you see) I began wondering if there was something unproper with the technique too. You made me feel relieved, somehow.

What do you mean exactly by 'readable'?
