Hey,

Here a render practice image i did today, trying to get a good rendering style with ink+brush (ok, actually i use a pentel pen)

The right eye is skewed a bit but i'm quite happy with the rendering. First time in a long while anything decent got out on paper (paper should have an UNDO button :D )

In the rendering style i try to emulate the style of Moebius and Bilal in some of their rendering. Seems they use a pen though. Incredible inspiration those guys are.

Oh well, here's the image.

Crit away!

Hi Erik,
it has got something this one... it isn't perfect, it isn't revolutionary, or jaw dropping amazing, but none the less it has a cool fell to it.

the eyes are the weakest part. they differ to much, and the guys left one is a bit to cartoony.

I like the nose and the chin.

Thanx for the reply. No it's not revolutionary or anything ;-)

Yeah i should remove the right eye...

I can't find the undo button on my sketchpad though... But it was only excercise in shading. And that orked out for me ;-)
