Hi all. Your site, forum etc. are great. It is a great source of inspiration, information and exchange of ideas concerning the related subject. Congratulations to the people who conceived the whole idea.
I am sending as a first post a spaceship sketch. I have no experience in working with markers, so this is a beginner's effort. Any comment will be highly helpful.
The spaceship is in the link below (really, how do you send the images directly inside the post threads?)

Fatesailor - sorry but i can't see your pic, the site is always "out".
If you want to put the image inside the thread, when you are in "edit mode", press the "IMG" button and then write the link in the small box.

Strange, whenever I try it works. Anyway, do you know a reliable free picture host?

Now it work. (for the host try xoom or tripod)
I like your bio-ship, it's volumetric and has good shadows.
It's a good work for me. ;)

Thanks for the comments. The issue of giving the sense of the volume by the use of markers was really important for me, so your comment is encouraging Cashmere.
This feel of simply liking something without being analytical as to the 'why' of it too is very important to me behemot5, therefore thanks for expressintg it so plainly.
Below I am posting the first very quickly and loosely done sketch which formed the inspiring idea of the one I already posted-I wanted to try something with markers. Although I think the one below (made with my favorite tool in quick sketching: the ballpen) is much more graceful.

Cool ! This ship looks like it could be in the Métabarons universe.

Yes, the European school. I am from Europe too. When the sketch came out it reminded to me the style of French artist Mezieres (Valerian). Although in some issues of Valerian looks as if he was doing the work in boredome, for job's sake only, he is a very rich in imagination and style artist. He was one of the concept designers in the 'fifth element' too, as far as I know. Surely, he inspired me, conciously or unconsiously, beginning from my late adolescance years.
