monitor question???

hy everyone, I'm going to order my macpro this week and with it i will buy a new screen but since i do a lot of digital work (2D-3D) I was wondering wich would be the best one to buy, i was thinking about the dell 2407WFP 24" but when reading some reviews of it i noticed that it is a good screen BUT with some seriouce problems, the 23" screen from mac is just too expensive (maybe i will buy that one anyway, but i'm trying to avoid it cause of the price) so do you guys know some good monitors for digital work wich are below 900$...

I bought an Eizo S2410W, works like a charm, and it has good colour ranges. Might be worth to check out.

seems like a nice monitor but its a bit expensive, i'm realy looking for a good monitor below 900 bukcs, maybe i should go for a 20" monitor...
