For school we had to create a postcard with the topic "different togheter".. the font was fixed so i couldn't change that.. It had to be black and white as well.

Got Lawrence?

cool!
I like mucho. Very nice placement and conjunction of two faces.
I think the success of this piece lies in its simplicity.
Kudos

Needs more contrast, as Ann Kurris would say. Othwerwise, i like it a lot, i'd publish it in a heartbeat. How'd you do the structure? And are these cards done in the context of the 01/10 concert?

got lawrence, hey thanks man :)

walnut, waaaaaiit a minut... you're from Belgium??? Where do you live man?
yea i kinda agree with the contrast, it looks better in print though. Yea the introduction week in St.Lucas was to make postcards for 0110. The teacher will choose the ones that will be printed and will be displayed on a screen at the concert.

Hope yours gets used, it deserves it. Cool assignment too btw. As for me, i'm from around Heist op den Berg, Aarschot, that region. Went St.-Lucas too, hence the contrast joke. God, that woman was an awful teacher. She still taking up calls during the atelier, when you discussising your work with her?

I think it does needs more contrast indeed.
And I've got this 'seen this before' feeling, don't you?
Not really new as it may be, it's well executed.
Good luck on the studies.

haha walnut, yea she is :) nice stuff in your sketchbook btw.

zergaloth, yea, i'm pretty sure the idea of using two fitting faces is nothing new :D But I thought it illustrated the title pretty well. Thanks.
