View Full Version : ARCEE BUST (My latest sculpture)

Here she is TRANSFORMERS fans...I've spent about 16 hours TOTAL on her. (She still has a tiny bit of tweaking left to be done before I bake her) ARCEE is one of those Transformers that hasn't gotten enough attention in the figure and bust department. Actually there has never been a bust made of her before. I guess mine's the first. Anyhow, what you guys think? :)

Thanks Alterton. I'm really making an effort to improve, and I think I'm doing it. Getting lots of positive feedback on this one....which is very encouraging. It wasn't easy, but I'm very happy with how she came out. I'm a big fan of Transformers, so it was important for me to get it right.

watching transformers was a religion of mine when i was young. very nice rendering! great choice of medium, too. you will do well.

sandgrain- Me too, I was always running home from school to watch the Transformers in the 80's.:D It was sort of a labour of love for me, so I'm glad it's getting such positive feedback. Thanks for the comments!!

mykoz- Thank you! She's made from Super Sculpey clay, a toothpick, my hands, and an exacto knife.(Oh, and patience) :cool:

syntax- TF fans are hard to please, and I had to get it right. Being one myself helped.;) Glad you like it. Thank you for posting.:chug:

I remember seeing your earlier busts, and boy, have you improved. This looks great man. Just keep making these.

You had been gone for a while, where were you?

Thanks man! Actually I've been lurking a bit here and there. I'm really trying to improve my work. I'm glad you've noticed it. That's very encouraging.:chug: I'm not giving up EVER, and know that I will do this for a living soon. Just gotta keep at it. :cool: Thanks again.
