Hi everyone!
This is my first posting so please be gentle. I was just wondering if you guys could give me your opinions on these 2 sample pages from a comic book project I have in the pipeline?
Cheers,
Simon Butler.

First off, fantastic style and coloring. I like it. Great lighting and perspective on the splash page.
Now fer the crits:
Page 1: picky stuff here, the fire creating the glowing windows is very cool, but would love to see more signs that a fire is ravaging the building. Like burnt, charred roof. Some of the window sills colapsed. And some fire coming out the windows.
Page 2: That first panel is very confusing. Now I assume it is a panel..which is the confusion I am speaking of. It's on the same angle as the wall, which made me think it was part of the walll therefore seeming like a wierd reflection...and..you get it.
The last image, the shadow on the old man is wierd. Comes off like a strange dark mass.
great work! Wanna see mooooore

on the second page the old man is in a corner which i think would be unlikely he would probably be by the window unless the fire is there which in the picture doesnt look like a great light source is existant where he is lying, and another thing is the odds that there is nothing in the corner are slim,
thats aobut it, i love the cover, its very dramatic and i love the coloring job

on the second page, the reflection is a mirror, I think ? It took me a bit to get it, but I like it, it emphasizes that he can't get out.
I only got 1 small crit: in the lowest inset panel on page 2, it looks like the hero has breasts, I'd make his chest more angular to avoid the effect.
Good stuff, the colors are very nice too.
