critiques:

miljenko - good monochrome pic, maybe a bit blurry but good kitty
Crustacean - very cool cat, cool design. Although, something in
the face also reminds me a little of a pug dog, pretty sure it's just me...
Winstar - nice comic-cats, both look very nice but the lower's my fav,
very clear line work

yesterday, Iw as trying to sketch some kind of cat-robot with all kinds of chips and stuff, but it wasn't really working out. I didn't expect to see drawings like these, but I like them. crustacean and demdike are my favorites till now, great job everyone!

Again, Crustacean is THE shit! He gave us exactly what was requested: A cyberage kitten which is robotic and artificial as well as cute at the same time. This is why he is a great character designer. Hats off, you son of a gun!

Crustacean: Very nice. I like the stripes on it's head. Looks like an inverted Atari logo.

Winstar: Love the bulb eyes. Great idea and character.

demdike: Great simple design. Works well.

LadyHydralisk: Nice anatomy and facial detal.

Knight Vision: Like the design of the eye with the bands around the head.

Mehz: I like the face on this. The tilt of the head gives an inquisitive look to the kitty.

ramonsk8: Not bad for a super quickie. I would have spent more time on one image though instead of doing two.

Really nice turn out everyone...

Miljenko, the depth is really good on the kitties head phones...they pop really well, the back lighting behind its head messes with the depth on the face though...maybe bring the light right to the edge of its face so as to suggest its behind the face...

Winstar, you have a fresh line in all of your works, I like your last one the best, you captured the heavy machine cat really well, it looks so heavy....

Demdike, the kitty is sooooo smooth, well done, and the cords are just enough to suggest cyborg...

Horsefly, Dont worry about symetry of the face, art, especially concept is all about "getting close enough" and you are definetly close enough...

Crustacean, the balance of the head is really nice, the expression is something you could imagine a cat looking like and is unorganic at the saem time...nicely done. Only thing I can think of to improve is tossing some color in someplace like the softest blue glow behind the eyes or somehting...

Lieblos Real awesome mark the shade field behind it is a little flat...if you go lighter with the mark and then overlap in different directions with a similar stroke it will make your subject pop...very nice marks though...you are good at this drawing thing we like to do here....

Demdike: Heh, you´re right, it does, sorta. I like yours, maybe it´s a bit more cat than kitty. Also, still very dark.. :)

Ramon: Thanks. You should probably sharpen up those designs a bit.
Mehz: A bit on the blurry side.
Winstar: Nice designs. I particular like the first one, he has a lot of character. The second remind me of those ichy and scratchy robots in that Simpsons episode.
LadyHydralisk: Nice sketch, interesting concept. If I were me I´d color correct a bit.
Horsefly: Really nice sketch. Looks like he sat too close to quite a few rocking chairs in his time. :)
Aga: Lovely design, very cute. He certainly has "eyes of interest".
Concrete: I agree, it could use some color. Then again, you can always improve *something*, and these sketches has to be superquickly done. Good advise though, I will keep it in mind for later rounds. But hey! Where´s your drawing?
Viramz: Nice batch there. As for your crits: I was going for a sort of detached ghostly stare, but, you know, "if you have to ask..." I suppose you could be right. Thanks for critting.
Lieblos: It scares me too. Eerie.
Gentrifier: It has a cyber-red eye of interest, but it looks more like a samurai helmet than a cat.
dubpsychosis: Nice sketch. I think the eyes look in slightly different directions though, and some areas, mainly the facial, could use a bit more detail, IMO.

Yeah, Crustacean, I agree. Kinda looks like a samaurai helmet. Funny how that happened. When I started drawing in the "whisker" elements on the side of the helmet, it did simply look like a samaurai. I guess that's alright, but not intentional. I'll have to exagerate the feline lines...

Crustacean- this edgy style of drawig looks cool. My favourite part of your pict is the lower part of kittie's face ( geometrical nose and mouth)
P.S. I have seen recently the thief, which you painted and there is sth in this work what I'm trying to achieve in my own works. That kind of simplicity and stylization build a nice mood there.

demdike- nice, velvety structure, very elegant and nice contrast with metalic elements

Winstar- nice sketches, I especialy like the second one and cool ,skilled linework there.

Horsefly- nice mood and colours

Hamsta- in this one your smudgy, blurry style works well. The large part of pict is not sharp so the focus point is on his eyes (luckily not smudgy ones ;P) and you achieved here cool effect that his face nearly get out from the monitor - and this impresion connection with sinister in his eyes creates intresting mood

Lieblos- like the impresion of movement there, and his waveing paws

so, alot of new posts have bene posted, my favorite drawing is: Mitze's robot-tiger. I just love the way it looks, and I love that eye! really inovative, and now you guys know I;m back again:P (probably didn't notice I was gone...)

Aga I was actually aware of the blurring on this one, the ref helped with the effect.
Is this Mixed media? Some of it, like the background, looks like markers, which adds to the interest. The grey shading looks very PS though, and not so great.
The head is cute, looking like a Japanese robotic pet, the Eibo type.
What little of the body shows is sort of boring, I suggest looking for more interesting shapes/lines.

What's it playing with? a brain? :P

viramz Not much to say, Some more contrast next time you show us something similar. The rendered one reminds me of the Aristocats. I like the second from the top on the left side, it has character.
