Hey folks,

It's been a while since I've posted anything here - too long if you ask me - so I decided to put this up. I've still got a ways to go with it, but I thought I'd see about getting some C/C from the CA crowd before I got too far along, so let me know what you all think.

This piece isn't really for anything in perticular; just some old wizard guy that I felt needed to be drawn...

By the way, I'm new to this whole "attatchment" thing. Can anyone tell me how to make these images full sized?

Lookin' sweet so far :)

To attach an image, when I'm makeing a new post I go down to 'manage attachments' and browse for and upload my pic.

I'm not sure, but you might want to look into the positioning of his left eye, our right and the slenderness of his hand. Other than that, looks great.

Alright folks,

Didn't have a whole lot of time to work this weekend and the small time that I did have went to the infamous Oblivion...
Anyhow, I had some time to work on it today; nothing major, just something to keep me moving.

Rhineville: thanks for pointing out the hand weirdness. I too thought there was something fishy going on.

john: thanks for your kind words.

I hope to get some more feedback from others, so feel free to post your thoughts/opinions!

Cheers.

Hey folks, another update...getting there.

Miau:

I'm still not sure if I want to finish all the details or just leave part of it unfinished to give it sort of a sketchy look. I know I've already gone a bit too far to achieve the latter, so I guess I'm probably stuck filling in the details. I donno, if you have any input on this matter, please let me know.

Mazelure: Hey man, thanks for your kind words. I haven't seen you around for a while; how have things been with you?

just a small note is that the left eye (for us) seems to be pushing inwards a little too much on the inner corner, ie the one near the nose (does that make sense?..). It's as though you had started with one type of perspective on that eye then switched to another over all.
Amazing detail though and the shadding is just breath taking! Great work. :)

Hi !!

To look to such pictures, at full blast. Good man render, and feeling the form.
I have asking as a layperson: which brushes you use to did it ? I mean the beginning here whether you started from hard with the texture?? Whether he can also somehow differently...

great redner like the man said. :) I think his left cheek is protruding too much for a skinny old man otherwise little to comment. :)
