Hello,
Would anyone would mind taking a look at my online portfolio please?
I'm going to be moving to Colorado next month and looking for a new Graphic Design job there. I'm wondering what initial impressions might be like when employers see the website.
It was built using Photoshop, ImageReady...and a text editor.
Thanks for any feedback that may be forthcoming!

Nice site and layout, easy to navigate and to the point.
I would suggest rethinking the font on the index.html (home page) it is not used anywhere else and can be hard to read at first.
I think your weakest image is the ben Affleck illustration. It's important to only show your strongest images and avoid "filler" when presenting your site to employers. Also, it may help to show how the editorial illustrations where/are being used with the articles, simple photograph of the page and how your images fit with in the layout.
If they wish to see more, you can show them more, but first impressions are very imporant.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Do away with the script for the main text font, especially if you want to land some design gigs. Hard and unpleasent to read. Not sure what to suggest, but remember that serif fonts usually work best for large portions of text.
The watermarks "dedicated craftsmanship" and "Conceptual design" are taking away from the slickness of the page and are also hard to read. Possibly have them attachted to another portion of text so that we're led to it... maybe under your main title/logo?
I also think that the 'email' link should go in that distracting gap between 'resume' and 'design' to solidify the design of that top bar.
Hope that helps :)

Thanks Rhineville. I'll see what I can do with all that.
