Hi there,

My name is Jamie Hoover, and I am an indie filmmaker currently based out of Victoria, BC, Canada. I've completed the 1st re-write and have begun pre-production on a feature length movie I intend to shoot next spring (Feb/March).

This may be the wrong type of forum here as don't see animation mentioned anywhere but absolutely love some of the artwork here. It's exactly the style I'm looking for, so if you have animation skills, please contact me.

The movie will consist of three separate segments of animation, the first two being thirty seconds to a minute, and the third, is to be somewhere from 2-5 minutes of animation.

I'm leaving it open to artist interpretation for the style of the animations, but can't use anything cartoony or cheesy looking as they are the most intense action scenes of the movie.

Personally, I was thinking in the 'Heavy Metal' style, which I believe would fit well here.

The movie is intended for the film festival market, and hopefully some distribution afterwards.

Most of my finances will be put into equipment for making the movie as 'pretty' as possible, so this would be a no/low paying job, depending on if you're a 'saleable' name or not. If your name can help me get financing to make the overall movie then it's more likely I can pay out. Otherwise, what I am offering is a part share in the rights.

The video is going to need to be shot before the animation is completed in order to link together. I would like to discuss details and get sketches before hand obviously.

I prefer not to post my email address in the general forum, but if at all interested, PM me for details and can talk there or provide my email and/or MSN for further discussions.

Thanks for your time, and look forward to hopefully talking to some of the very talented individuals on this forum.

You want 18000 frames of non cartoony style action sequences for no pay.

Please realize how rediculous this is.
