'Allo all! I hope I am not making a fool of myself. Well, here's my little doodles.:bashful: I'm just going through my doodle folder right now and posting some of the stuff I have there. Some of it's recent..some of it notsomuch- but is recent enough. I want to see if I can update something like this daily. Woo.

Oh, thank you! Normally I wouldn't dare try to post my stuff simply out of the fear that I'd be totally shot down. But everyone seems so nice here and that really helps. I usually see a lot of insults thrown around when it comes to forums like this.

For that I am very thankful. =D Yeah, I did try to finish that sketch, but my attempt at coloring it ruined it. I'm not certain where it is at the moment. I don't draw many objects, so I think I overkilled the design. XD My dad is always fussing at me for trying to make things too complicated. I think it's the one reason why I have a hard time finishing things.
The chair was fun though...

Nice drawings! My favorites are the fox, girl with a red hair in the last post, and girl on a chair. :) Keep it up!

Insults? I sure hope not. Sometimes people do get sensitive but most of the time (99.9%) criticism is given in order to improve.
Anyhow, you got a great start here. Your faces are very anime-ish. At first I couldn't tell if it's a guy, a girl, or Sephiroth :)
I also like the fox and the girl in the chair which has great use of perspective and curves to outline the body. Keep them coming.
Don't listen to your dad about making complicated works. Just find your style and improve. Even if you speedpaint sometimes there is need to go complicated but the real work goes into the shading and your lines are already fine so just go with whatyou feel like. Also try to make more environments, tell your dad I said that just to spite him :)

Thank you! =D Yeah, I've had a strong anime influence. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to have trouble telling the gender of my doodles apart. XD! Either they think everything I draw is female...or they think everything is male. I guess I need to try for more manly males. Haha.
I've actually been trying to draw environments. My dad helped me a bit on that by showing me how to use perspective and how I should go about looking at things. So he is good for something, at least. (I mean that in the fondest way.) It helped a lot, but my doodles of the yard still look abysmal..XD

The face is very well done, but I think the hair could use a lot more sharpness and definition to it.

Yeah, I got bored with the sketch when it came to the hair. D= But, right now, I'm actually trying to work on something and actually finish it so I can try to put together a decent portfolio. Really want to try to get into an art school. But I don't have annnyyy idea what I'm doing...so any help would be looked on with MUCH adoration.
