Hey fellas...I haven't posted in ages...been working steadily on some of these comps. They're quick (about 6 hours a piece) and are for a game that I can't really talk about at the moment ;)

absolutely awesome, these are some really cool and original designs. I think thats pretty dam fast too if you can turn these out in 6 hours each, I know pencil rendering stuff takes me forever.
personally I don't think the first one rates as highly as the others, but still looks good. The second and last are the best, definitely some interesting ideas there. Sorry I can't really offer much int he way of a crit!

Awesome beastmen. These are great. I especially like the stylized way they are drawn, very appealing.

The boiler (beer belly) on the Avian, and the three nipples on the Hyena looking feller are classic. I like the fact that not all of your creatures are huge, muscular pieces of genetic perfection.
Nice work.

Thanks fellas :) I'm really trying to define a certain style for this game.....heavy influences on me are Mike Mignola, Joe Mad and Travis Charest.
Irate: I'm glad you noticed the beer belly on the avian...haha! I'm making characters that all gamers can relate to...less than perfect anatomy! Granted, I do my fair share of the buff ones, too :)
I'll be posting more as I pump 'em out!

Fun stuff.Personally I would add some darker shadows in the pencil work, but this works as it is.
