Macs and Photoshop

Ok, i made another thread asking for help with my photoshop on my new macbook pro. I was wondering if anyone else has a macbook pro 15" on which they use photoshop. If you do, i would like to ask you if photoshop runs extremely smoothly. Is there slight delay with rapid brush strokes? Would a copied version of photoshop cause any delay??? I am really confused and vexed as to whether or not this is how photoshop normally runs on a mac.

currently PS is running under emulation via Rosetta; the reason for the slowness. It wont run natively until CS3 comes out (whenever that will be).
