Another randomly inspired piece that came to me while doing Google image searches. This was sketched out in my sketchbook, revised, inked onto illustration board. After that I just started throwing supplies at it - acrylics, gouache, coloured pencils and tons of fixitive.

I can't say I finished it as well as I could have (the cracked concrete and light blue background) but it turned out pretty well for being a technique trial.

Comments and critiques appreciated muchly.

The car seems a bit stretched..or not? The seats inside look too tied...
I like the colors of the girl.
You are clever to use those techniques all together! Well done ;)

Well it's look not so bad but what's wrong with the "stop"

Thanks.

I'll agree that it isn't the most accurate drawing - there's perspective issues with the concrete texture and the stop sign, and the drawing isn't very genuine to the actual car. It was more of an experiment with media and technique, but I'll have to admit I probably should have invested a little more time in the drawing.

Anyways, thanks for the critiques - this will serve as a reminder to me that an accurate drawing will always serve as the basis for a great piece.
