here it begins i guess the first sketchbook by me, trying to learn and develop enough skills to gain admittance to an art university, we shall see (sorry fir my crappy scanner)

nice work man, i like the characters, dont be afraid to lay down lines because it looks like you arnt very confident in them on your figure studies. id like to see some value work of yours! keep up the style duder.

Great stuff.. keep working on that anatomy that is what most people have problems with. Work on getting different line weights. Keep it up!!

im gonna do some more valued bodies coming soon, ive been trying to make my lines moer confident (thanks justadoodle and weggebrecht) what exzactly are line weights though? ive only taken one drawing class so im pretty much slef taught to this point, so some of the lingo escapes me.

Keep working on that line confidence. Line weight is the thickness of the lines. Usually, darker thicker lines indicate areas of shadow, while lighter, thinner ones are highlights/everything else. Think to thin is dark to light, basically. There's other uses for weight, but thats the one I generally think of.

Filter through this page for good info on cartooning theory. (http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/) There's a lot of interesting stuff.

Nice cartoons and some good anatomy studies. Your linework cold use some more confidence but you're on the right track.

been working on some stuff, here it is so far
give me some critiques and stuff thatd be great.. ill scan the rest of the 50 pages or so i am behind in my sketch book uploading in increments with new things put in too.. i guess you shouldnt fall behind in these things
