Hi everyone, this is my first post. This forum has some really excellent work. i have a sketch that was done in pencil and touched up in photoshop, maybe i'll make it in 3d someday...

Awesome stuff. You are better than I am at coloring in Photoshop. Perhaps you could post a step-by-step of your touch ups.

Do you use transparency, or somethign else?

thanx, Halis_Aetrous, i'm a beginner in photoshop, so my techniques were quite simple. i just scanned in a pencil sketcha and then used default brushes to give it a basic color scheme. then i used dodge and burn to create areas of light and shadow, that's basically it. i didnt use any transparency. hope it helps:)
