hey peeps .. this will be my first post.. i think..??..

but I have been browsing CA for awhile..
even before a made an acc on CA i was browsing the forum.. specially sketchbooks and right now just looking at Mentler's sketches or should i say MASTERPIECES .. i thought i should make meh own sketchkbook ..

till now ive been wondering if i would even be able to come close to the skill u ppl here at CA.. and thought that maybe i should improve a bit more b4 i make a
sketchbook..

but ive just decided screw that.. i think ill get way better if i get constructive crits from u ppl here.. so yeah .. heres meh new sketchbook.. only 3 pics for now.. but itl grow.. in time.. *hopefully* ..

just wanna know if anyone knows a good way of learning to draw hands, feet and FACES.. lol.. im terrible at em.. infact.. im worse than that.. but im also very willing to learn..

please be kind and give whatever crits u deem fit for me.. oh.. i did these out of my head so yeah.. didnt have ref.. so they might be and infact are way off.. i think.. but i know ill be getting an anatomy book soon.. any links would help too..

im studying animation.. both 2d and 3d.. mostly 3d.. but id like to become both a conceptual artist and a cg specialist (3d animation, modeling and effects)..

now that all thats done.. here they are..

FINALY... :\

Hi Motion, I see that you start with perspective and some dynamic position. I think is better to start with more simple anatomic studies, with some good reference books ( like Loomis Books ) or with some material thar you find in the web ( like Loomis (http://www.fineart.sk/index.php?cat=1) )
I hope to see more and more studies man ;)
Keep it up, cheers :D

dreamworker is right, you should start with just dead on poses and get the anatomy right before you venture off into various angles and such. just to get it right.

and to edit your sig just go to user cp in the upper left part of the site then click edit signature.

Great to have another motivated artist aboard, the thing I would suggest you start with it just copying and understanding the Loomis books (you can download them as pdf's here: http://basangpanaginip.blogspot.com/2006/01/downloads.html )

Good luck!

The little pin figures in books like 'how to draw comics the marvel way' and loomis books are a nice way to get quick and fluid. Also drawing the people around you in everyday life is good practice. Obviously, keep up with the imaginative stuff too!
