How do you guys get all those funky cool textures? I can't do that...I try I can't.

Seriously, I'd like to know...

As for C&C, I like the lighting in the first one, but to me, it's more of a sketch than a final piece per se.

The second looks more finished to me, and I like the textures on it quite a bit, especially knowing it's been done with PS. Nice details on the lights. I almost wish the use of the photograph of the tank was a tad less obvious. To me, some areas look painted and some look like they're from a photo. If this is your style, then it's fine, but I wouldn't know (haven't seen your stuff before.)

love the mood of the first one - though i dont like the softer lines; it works with the left hand 'cause of the light, but in the lower part of his clothing it doesnt fit imho, should use rough strikes like on top

Photoshop 7 is amazing !!! I juste tried it, and didn't find all the possibilities of the textures and brushes.

You give here a very good example of what can be done at it's best !!!
