We are searching for a concept artist who is willing to send in some example works for a full price title game concept.
I am representing a group of new freelancing Game Designers in Germany. We plan to present our "Game Concept" to a Developer and/or Publisher. We already made contact to some studios on the Games Convention in Leipzig where we presented a short concept of our game. Now some studios are willing to hear more and want us to present a full length concept complete with artwork and detailed information for presentation. Since our team is working on the story, level and features, we need talented artists who want to show their abilities in character and world design.
This is a job without payment at the moment for everyone involved. Of course we hope to change that if a publisher/devolper agrees to produce the game.
Any concept artist we choose to involve into the production has full copyright on the pictures he or she sent in and his/her name together with his pieces of work will be mentioned in the concept and presentation to a publisher or developer. No pictures will be handed to a third person only in case of presentation to a publisher and developer in that case the artist will be immediately informed
If you are interested try to get inspired by this and be creative:
The Game is based on the biblical Apocalypse which is going to take place in the near future. Involved will be Lucifer, the fallen angel and Michael, lord of the heavenly armies as well as the four horsemen. In the beginning the world looks very much the same like ours but during the game its face will change to hell on earth. The main character Seth is a normal man who gets some angel powers and an angel sword fighting demons, insane humans and even angels alike. Keep in mind, the mood of the game is that humankind is doomed and the Apocalypse will not be stopped but fulfilled.
We would love to see some inspriational work and of course want to make contact and stay in contact with creative minds.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Either via email or this Thread.
Thanks
Michael Wippich
