The first one:
Great work on the head and body. The background also has a nice erie feel.

For being a hideous monster it stands a little too much like a dancer or like a tight rope walker. Maybe try widening the stance of his walk.

It looks like you took a lot of time looking into anatomy for the legs, I think the right arm and hand need the same attention to anatomy (for example...some tendons connecting to the claws on the hands). I think it can turn into a great piece!

i'm not sure how is mouth would look when it opens. that's difficult to grasp.

otherwise, i would HATE to get caught in the woods with that dude on my tail. those claws scare me .. they look heavy and powerful. great job.

the legs on the monster are a litttle weird--and teh stance seems unnatural--seems off balance

maybe you could incorporate the bagy skin feel of his chest into his legs etc

the second pic is nice --but IMO could use some sort of action or event to hold our attention longer

i like the way you paint--keep up the great work---ty

Let have your thoughts on them...!

I love the house! It reminds me of Skies of Arcadia. Anyway, the only thing that looks odd about it is the cobble stones leading from the door to the house. The perspective seems off.

maybee you could up the contrast on the monster, now it is a bit more flat than in the first pic.

I upped the contrast a bit and touched up a few of the details. Let me know what you think

Better, but I prefered the mouth with more teeth. Still it has a very cool mood about it, kinda of like a nightmare.

the eyes are nice

These look great. The house looks wonderful and the progress of the monster is sick! One thing that bothers me on the monster is his right leg, it bothers me not knowing what his knee fits and holds together the leg. Other than that, i love it!

Here's a slight po I did. Not really a po, but more of an adjustment of colors, and contrast. It's what I would have done anyways. I didn't address the leg, cuz I was too lazy...

That's quite a color shift. I was going for more of a nighttime look, but your adjustment looks great too. I will have to try that colour scheme out in another image sometime.

hey sakievich.

you could have a another light on the left, in the shadows. the sky could for example make a stronger reflection on the stones.

concerning the swampthing, i definitely prefered the first brown/beige version you did first. more realistic acc to me.
but the others are fine anyway.

That's actually a great idea, and from the magnificent Sparth. I will try that out.

Unless anyone can come up with something that would just make it sing a lot better, I think I will call it done.
