finally I found out how to post pictures, sorry, I'm just bad tempered.

what if you were walking through the jungle and saw the top of a pyramid above the trees? finally, when you're there, it appears to e a big plant, strange...

After being dormant for so many years, it seems the secret of the Maya is revealing itself, as ancient temples literaly turn alive, and appear to be in contact with extraterrestrial intelligence.
painter, hour?

Horsefly and Crustacean - Great job guys!

Hamsta - Can't see anything but the old red x.

Ramonsk8 - Some sites don't allow you to link an image... only the url. Incidentally, the dimensions of the image on that most recent link would be far too large to post here anyways... Try something about half that size or smaller. Also, don't spend "all day" working on these... Just 1-3 hours should be more than plenty. Oh, and chill on the potty-mouthed bitching, please.

Welp, I'm letting this ride another day on account the topic deserves as much.

adam278: Haha... Sorry, but atleast this way you'll be getting the old creative brain cells working harder. :tihi:

ramonsk8: Very strange. I like the tentacle sweeping up with the light globe on the end.

PeanutButterWerewolf: Very cute. Nice pose.

Crustacean: Dig the Gigeresque design. Nicely rendered detail.

Hamsta: Nice Idea. I'm seeing a giant crab clinging to the side of it!:^^:

Mitze: Cthulhu inspired? I like the colours and design.

Sirio_Brozzi: Haha... Great texture on the snail.

William b. Hand: Thanks.

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n26/ramonsk8/moses-hopiplant.jpg

well, this is my moses-hopi desert plant, a plant that can move. most of the time they live in the deep desert, but this one got lost and ended up in the jungle.
this is my first digital painting with shadows (kind of). I think I've found a better way now, but it was just fun to paint. thanks alot...

Horsefly Oops. now that you mention it, it does look like a crab on the outside. It's supposed to be inner organs, oh well, happens.

I like this, it doesn't look as polished as some other works, but it looks like a good begining, and it kinda reminds me of my own work :)
Nice brushes and textures, I like the background colors. The pyramid is icky, which might be what you were aiming for, but it makes me want to look at something else :p
and there's a bit of wonkiness in the explorers, maybe anatomy or perspective.
