After the many and much appreciated Crits in the crit section I am just posting an update on the piece because I hate the original now. I have a long way to go with anatomy, I know, but I think the piece is a lot more solid now and I hope you feel the same.

Please don't just click on the the next thread where an artist has posted a thousand pieces of eye candy. If you dont like the piece then leave me a comment. Thank you for your time. :^^:

That is superb, the textures and everything. My only crit is the character anatomy, it doesn't seem to be able to turn its head. No neck.

What is the story behind this piece. I can see the humanoid on the right is some predator-esque dude but what is his purpose?
This may be my wild brain, although I know the shape on the left is a tree/plant thing with fungus growing on it, but at first glance it looked like a humanoid figure cocooned by the plant. It looks sort of suspended animation falling back like pompeii.

Hunter encounters something for the pot, jeez it's not the hard.

Sorry I didn't do a muscle encrusted guy pummeling a dragon or a naked woodland nymph. I am sorry I tried to do something different. I am sorry you are the only person, so far, not to work it out.

Your not the only one however to say it looks like predator, so what, I see thousands of cliques or 'homeages' in this industry. It's not based on predator if you want to know I used Bib Fortuna as a starting point.

I know I did ask for comments and I appricate you leaving one but at least read what you have written back to yourself before you post it and consider how constructive your comments are.

Hey man, the guy just wanted to know what was going on, and if you ask me, there wasn't anything offensive in his comment either... He just said your figure was predator-esque, which was the first thing I thought myself, due to the helmet with what looks like dreadlocks. He didn't accuse you of stealing the design, so I don't really see why you're all worked up.

His only fault was not recognising the red caterpillar-creature as what it is.

Great piece btw, me likes, only faults I can find is that the leg on the right seems a bit like it's floating or something, can't really put my finger on it... and it seems like the helmet is slightly twisted, like the helmet itself is turned towards the caterpillar-creature, while the red face design looks more towards the viewer.

sorry if the tone of my crit was mis interpreted. I was simply intrigued by this beautiful piece of artwork and wanted to find out more, out of appreciative interest.

Look sorry Cam

I think I was coming back at you a little full-on. Thanks for your response. I can't stop thinking about the comments you made :D I will probably change it at some point because I always do.

Also thanks to deekon for his comments.
