Yay! that is neat!
Love the ocean and all the small detail. really interesting to look into!

my crit would be the horizon. where cliff meets the sky. they look like they're on the same plane. depth and air is sort of missing.
And maybe cliff would need some contrast in some areas. Where it meets the stone bunker for example.

tharmine, i like it very much

just one question...what are those rocks doing there on the roof of the building on the left side????

this pictures reminds me of "Indiana Jones" where this submarine gets into this hidden base on an Greek island!

do you have more of this kind??

Thanks for the comments!

The rocks were down the cliff, so i thought it would be funny to place theme somewhere else, like if they fall down...Humm.
I don't have any other image for the moment, this one was just for a exercice thread on a web site, but thanks for the Indiana Jones feeling, i love this movie.

The submarine is effectivly small. I did it without any references, just imaginations

The water is so real looking it is amazing. My only crits would be the base on top of the cliff lacks depth a little bit. It looks as though it is supposed to be set back a little, the lighting brings it to the front a little too much. That and the perspective on the docks is a tad off, but I can't put my finger on it.

But damn that water looks nice.

Nice Scene ,but i got one thing.I think the Submarine is too high above the water(looks like 2/3) normaly the most parts of them are under the water line.

I disagree! A submarine can well be above the water line, it depends on the location and purpose :)

woah this is so cool !

I think you could intensify the distance between the background and the forground with fog and wind perhaps to add more dramatic feeling.

Whati is the original size of the pic ?

The original size of the pic is 1600*1200. Of course, i modified the sea a bit, (especially where it hit the docks and the submarine) but i don't draw it all, so don't give me flowers for the water;)
