Hi tegehel,
nice picture! I am not to keen on the brush texture, but that it totally personal taste so whatever...
I really like the composition, and it feel a bit like a camera snapshot. You have been very productive lately, keep it up.

Well, thank you.

This is a wiiiiild guess because I assume there are plenty of movies with women vampires, but I'll say "From Dust to Dawn"?

Dracula (Lugosi, Lee) usually didn't have female vampire protagonists (maybe his brides) and "Lost Boys" were mostly boys. "Fright Night" was also another dude movie. Dracula (Coppola) and Dracula 2000 (Carpenter) also relished in male dominated vampirism. The only one I know and recall having a heroine vampire was the first one I mentioned.

Anyone else knows of a movie whose protagonist vampire's a woman?

Maybe, after all, there aren't plenty of them...

Cool work. Perhaps, it's just me, but the light source seems a little confusing. The girl in the tanktop isn't interacting with the cascading light, but has her own light source in front of her. Nonetheless, it's a great piece.

yes, after a few days, I start to think that the main lightsource is a bit too powerful. I think I will rework that a bit. Thanks for the heads up. I shall update it shortly.

I haven't seen Queen of the Damned because I was told not to :) I know it was Aaliyah's last movie but apparently you only see her towards the end of the movie, and then again, her role was pretty much one of a bimbo: smile and look pretty...(of course, this is biased because I have not seen it).

Innocent Blood was a female dominated vampire movie...

As for female Vampire...see Vampires: Los Muertos

It's a Carpenter sequel to Vampires and has Bon Jovi as the lead...also a female vamp as protagonist.

Funny note:

Bon Jovi hides his vampire gear in a hollowed-out surfboard.

Gah!

[edit] Just for the record, the Vamp, Arly Jover, was Stephen Dorff's vampire girlfriend in Blade :)
