My newest piece done as a print for my opera teacher's birthday. Critiques welcome! If you guys can help me think of a name, that'd be great too. One I've thought of is "Dropped Pretenses."

I just tried to think of something opera-related that I could paint for my teacher, since I don't have any money to buy her a gift. We do a lot of singing of Phantom of the Opera, so I wanted something that would capture the essence of the Masquerade. Then I thought, "What would make someone drop their mask in a masquerade?" That's how I came up with the idea of the kiss.
